Job Summary:  Flyght is looking for a technically proficient, motivated, and kind individual who has proven B2B technical sales experience to cultivate and nurture high-level relationships from the lead to close stage in the customer life-cycle.

Primary Purpose: The successful candidate will consistently increase new customers through high close rates while maintaining a large potential sales funnel.  The candidate will consistently showcase an increase in value to potential customers.

Success Defined: A successful Unification Architect will exceed sales goals during all quarter and annual reviews, and consistently receive top-marks from customers in customers’ post-sale reviews.

Primary Measurables: Monthly Recurring Revenue Sales

Responsibilities: The Unification Architect position is responsible for prospecting new customers and completing product sales to new and existing customers.   Further, the Unification Architect will maintain a post-onboarding relationship with clients to ensure their long-term success.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

  • Own and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Build trust in the organization by creating value and giving expertise at network events
  • Build trust with existing customers, and uncover new opportunities with those customers
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through sales proposals and presentations to new and potential customers.
  • Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Maintain a 90-day follow up relationship with customers after installation.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Success Defined: A successful engineer will close support cases within the Service Level Agreements in place with our customers, and customers will consistently rank this person with high marks for effectiveness and communication.  This personal will also complete internal technology projects on-schedule and exceed the previously agreed upon requirements for qualitative success.

Primary Measurables: Customer Surveys, Project Goals

Responsibilities: The engineering internship position is responsible for promptly resolving customer’s technical issues and requests, organizing day-to-day repetitive service tasks, and completing internal-flyght-facing projects that last in duration from one to five days each.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

  • Project works are streamlined and successfully completed within the time allotted
  • Customer communication occurs daily or has a finite “next communication” date/time.
  • Client communication is free from grammatical and spelling errors, and fully communicates issues and resolution steps in a clear, concise, and lay manner.
  • Customer support requests are resolved in a timely manner
  • Hourly billing is kept up to date by the minute and verified each day
  • Timesheets are submitted weekly and are accurate and account for 90%+ of time spent at Flyght
  • Attend team weekly meetings and update weekly KPI data.

Success Defined: The Inbound Shaman works behind the scenes, in the shadows, to make sure that our best potential customers learn about Flyght at the most opportune time, and receive the most appropriate information to them, which turns into tangible sales.

Primary Measurables: Opportunities created; sales conversions; lead qualification percentage.

Responsibilities: The Inbound Shaman owns the marketing channel (creating or outsourcing content; building advertising campaigns; measuring results; iterating; and building new platforms for brand awareness (podcasting, blogging, guest posts, etc.)

Specific responsibilities include the following:

  • Own the marketing content calendar.
  • Either manage or own social media posts.
  • Either manage or own blog posts.
  • Maintain outreach to new potential marketing partners for CEO or Inbound Shaman.
  • Dutifully understand the products within the Flyght umbrella and how to best showcase those to potential customers.
